A Harvest of Hardship:
In many impoverished communities, the struggle for sustenance begins right at the roots. Families depend on small, hard-won harvests to survive, yet these crops often fall short of feeding them year-round—ushering in the dreaded “hungry season” before the next harvest. Over time, decades of chemical fertilizer use have drained the soil of its natural vitality, wiping out the beneficial microorganisms that once nurtured the land. Now, the soil demands ever-increasing amounts of fertilizer just to eke out a meager yield. For poor farmers, the spiraling costs of these inputs create an impossible cycle, leaving them caught between barren soil and an ever-growing hunger.
From Poverty To Generosity!
Our ministry is helping transform barren fields into lush, thriving gardens using the power of creation. By teaching farmers to harness organic mulch, embrace no-till methods, and craft natural compost, we unlock the secrets to tripling crop yields with simple, sustainable practices. Our training programs empower farmers to break free from the cycle of poverty and step confidently into a future overflowing with abundance and possibility. But we don't stop there.....
Beyond Wealth:
Focusing solely on boosting wealth without addressing the crucial pillars of wise financial stewardship, family unity, and spiritual grounding in Christ can inadvertently multiply our challenges. By neglecting these essential areas, we risk turning progress into a double-edged sword. That’s why our approach goes beyond mere economic gains. We empower people to manage finances responsibly, nurture deep family connections, and strengthen faith—creating a balanced foundation for lasting abundance and fulfillment.
Africa Statistics:
HUNGER & POVERTY
414 million live on less than $1.90/day
1 in 5 are hungry
55% don't have electricity
35% illiteracy rate
Charity and Aid aren't working
Handouts are hurting
A SOLVABLE PROBLEM
God has given Africa all it needs to thrive
Africa has plenty of land, favorable climates, great soil, and people willing to learn and work
THE SOLUTION
Following the "Farming God's Way" and "I Was Hungry" training model allows us to come alongside farmers to show them their potential. We teach, disciple, equip, and empower them in Farming, Faith, Family and Faith
No "Handouts," only "Hand-ups"
Sowing Seeds of Freedom:
Across the globe, we partner with churches and ministries eager to embrace change. Invited into communities, we serve as catalysts for sustainable transformation—training locals to break free from the trap of poverty. Through culturally sensitive, holistic instruction in food, finance, family, and faith, we nurture not only practical skills but also spiritual growth. Our mission is to expand God’s family by empowering individuals to become mature disciples of Christ. Rather than remaining long-term, we focus on establishing systems where local leaders become the trainers. We believe that lifting others up is far more transformative than merely handing out assistance.
Malawi, Rooted in Hope:
In Malawi, Africa, our journey of transformation began through a vibrant partnership with The Source Spokane. The Source Malawi, launched in 2016 to care for orphaned children, has now embraced a new vision—one of self-sufficiency and community empowerment. Invited to contribute our expertise, we work hand in hand with local leaders, providing training in farming and finance to help them build a resilient, sustainable community center.
Our role goes beyond consultation. We’re praying for a a dedicated missionary that we can send to live on-site, offering mentorship and nurturing project growth from the ground up. By integrating guidance in farming, finance, family, and faith, we aim to establish self-sustaining businesses that can cover the center’s costs while empowering local talent.
Rather than imposing a western model, we celebrate indigenous wisdom by creating locally led training centers. These hubs are designed to serve as a springboard—hosting local interns and dispatching training teams to neighboring villages. At the heart of our initiative is a commitment to values like stewardship, faithfulness, humility, and selflessness, woven into every aspect of our skills training to build character and resilience in the face of life’s challenges.
A year after we visitied Pastor John in Malawi he is teaching local village chiefs about making compost. Training trainers has began.
This season Pastor John and his team are making a lot more compost!
Sending Cross-Cultural Christian Workers
We prepare cross-cultural Christian workers in agriculture, cross cultural living, faith, partner development and more. We will do training for other organizations as well as send and support our own. Traditionally the term Missionary has been used to describe a cross-cultural Christian worker, we believe that all Christians are called to be "missionaries" regardless if they leave their culture or not. Please contact us if you or some one you know is interested.

Expanding to?
We have several invitations to do ministry in several countries and locations. As God provides us with the needed resources we plan to expand as we are led. The harvest is truly plentiful but the workers are few, if your considering cross cultural kingdom ministry please contact us today.
