Poverty is the condition of brokenness in our relationship with God, ourselves, others, and creation. This results in material, emotional, and spiritual lack. Poverty goes beyond the lack of money & resources, it’s a state where people experience a shortage of dignity, community, justice and spiritual well-being. It reflects the brokenness of a sin tainted world marked by injustice and neglect.
The solution to poverty isn't charity, it’s restoration. The great mission of the Church is to extend God's restorative love to an impoverished world, helping people find their way back to God. This is the kingdom of God.

We work with refugees and the local community in Spokane with hands-on farm and garden training, cultural adaptation and job training. Inspired by Christian Love we want to welcome our new neighbors and help them integrate to life in Spokane.
